Welcome to another edition of The Beer Review!!! This month i have reviews on a bunch of Mexican Beers from my recent beer tour through there. So sit back and enjoy...
Pacifico --- One of the most popular beers in mexico, a favorite of the natives. I prefer this over Corona anyday. It's just as cheap, has a smooth, fruity taste with no bitterness or aftertaste.
Corona --- Another very popular beer in Mexico, due to the extensive advertising. I personally do not like this beer at all, it tastes like shit if there isn't a lime in it. My theory is that if you have to put something into your beer to make it taste good, then you shouldn't be drinking it in the first place.
El Sol --- The cheap mexican version of corona, but has a hint of skunkiness in each bottle. I definitley do not recommend this beer.
Indio --- Was actually very good, tasted like a northeastern micro-brew. Very tart but very smoothe.
Dos Equis --- Probably my favorite Mexican beer by far. Doesn't have the extra fruity taste that the other mexican beers have. If you've never had it, you got to try it.
Modello Especial --- The Mexican version of Natie Light or the Beast. You can actually taste the tin from the can. Not bad if you're running low on pesos.
Tecate --- Tasted almost exactly like Budweiser...
Bohemia --- A german import, but is found all over Mexico, they really like this beer down there. I actually really liked it too. It has a lot of flavor and taste to it, but was still bery smoothe.
Tourtel --- Warning!!!! Sin Alcohol in english means "without alcohol" DO NOT BUY THIS SO CALLED BEER!!!!
